After the demise of our beloved kitty, we have now had to resort to a lethal trap that electrocutes the poor things. 🙁

Paint or replace your front door
Jet wash your paths and driveway
Paint your fences and gates
Clean your windows
Complete minor repair work. A lot of councils and housing associations now expect tenants to do this.
Add a vase of flowers in the living room
Clear away all ashtrays, if there are any.

A small update to this – our cat suddenly turned into a maniacal mouse serial murderer and now catches and kills them before we have a chance to catch them ourselves! 😥

It’s easy to overlook, but ornaments and other decorations should also be clean…people notice more than you think!

One thing I did forget to mention – make sure you scour your home to see if you can find out where the mice are getting in. Seal up any holes leading to outside. You can usually find lots of droppings around the area!

You could also consider re-arranging your furniture and/or storing excessive items so that your home doesn’t look so cluttered. Minimalistic furnishings can help your home look spacious. So can understated decor and ornaments.
